I saw this commercial yesterday that made me wonder what God thinks of things like the cross with the crystal and Lord’s Prayer in it.
I wonder, Does God think we are making a mockery out of His sacrifice? Do we profit from the cross, the object of torture, that Jesus died on?
I don’t know. It seems like we have become the sellers in the temple, doesn’t it? Or is it just me?

i remember sitting in amber williams’ room at etbu with a bunch of girls. she made the statement that she didn’t like the whole cross thing…that to her it was the same as wearing an electric chair around her neck. i know that’s not really the point of your post, but i often think of that statement…it struck me.
