How is it that I cleaned the house in anticipation of company.
Company comes.
Company leaves.
My house is a mess again.
I’m too tired to clean.
Or to care.
I guess I’ll clean it the next time company is expected.
I may wait a month… or two before inviting anyone else over.

You know thats how it always works. People walk in, “wow, your house looks great!” Peolple leave you look around and with a huge sigh say,”aw crap”. Its classic thats how it always goes.

I’ve decided that cleaning the floors before company is silliness.
Picking up the messes, sure, but don’t vacuum or mop until afterward.
